How FFL Transfers Actually Work

A calm, step-by-step walk through what happens from click to delivery — no jargon, no fluff.

Step 1 — you order

Checkout like any other site. Credit card, shipping address, etc. Your firearm does not ship to that address.

Step 2 — select your FFL

You choose a local licensed dealer from our directory. If yours is not listed, we contact them for a license on file.

Step 3 — we ship

The firearm ships directly to that FFL. You will receive tracking once it is on the truck.

Step 4 — you complete 4473

Visit your FFL. You will complete ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check, pay any transfer fee the FFL charges, and carry your firearm home.
